In yet another blatant attempt to render the Republican presidential candidate impotent, therefore propping up their secular messiah Barack Obama, the New York Times has rejected an Op-Ed by presidential contender John McCain. Instead, this “news” paper has reportedly told McCain that his Op-Ed needs to be more like Obama’s—which was accepted (surprise—surprise!”) by the Times. In case there are a few individuals who’ve been living in a cave for the last year or so—Obama is for an immediate pull-out of US troops from Iraq and McCain is not. Obama believes the pull-out should occur based upon his ideology and McCain believes any pull-out should occur based upon what’s actually transpiring in the region. Brian Rogers, a McCain spokesman, said of the Times’ rejection that it “reveals where they’re coming from” and that McCain’s position “will not change based on politics or the demands of The New York Times.”

Suffice it to say, the New York Times and the rest of the leftist mainstream press does not—let me repeat that—does not like McCain’s position. He’s not far-Left enough for their tastes. Instead, they prefer an appeasement position that both serves to embolden the terrorists and essentially gelds the USA. Therefore, they have begun their now-overt censorship of all who disagree with them. The leftists’ bastion New York Times is merely the largest and the first.

Note: For all to observe, this is what the Left means and has always meant by any and all “fairness doctrines.” Anyone who expresses any idea that disagrees with theirs is not “fair” and must be silenced. Only the Left’s ideas must be heard. As an example, McCain’s views are to be ignored and even actively suppressed, while Obama’s plans are touted as “smart” and “realistic.” Realistic? Isn’t Obama the same guy that had already issued his plans for Afghanistan before he’d ever set foot in the country? The press has also worked diligently to cover-up Obama’s statements about the “need” for a national police force. His comments were quietly removed from any transcripts by his campaign and the media. Obama says that this “civilian national security force must be just as powerful and just as strong” as the US military! Is this something with which the Marxist press agrees? Apparently so or they wouldn’t have worked so hard to remove it from public view. And, by the way, Mr. Obama was not referring to ‘national service’. He speaks of national service earlier on in his speech. The national police force comments are chilling and all too reminiscent of Nazi Germany and Stalin’s Russia to be ignored.

The New York Times truly needs to change its motto from “All the news that’s fit to print” to this line from Dante’s Inferno: “Abandon every hope, ye who enter here.”

Whether you are an Obama supporter or not, these truths about this man must be told. It is your choice as to whether or not you choose to listen. If not, you enter his new and frightening world at your own considerable risk.

In another move geared to even faster destroy the ability of the American people to support themselves, Congressional Democrats have decided the price of a gallon of gas just isn’t high enough to really hurt us. So, Democrats have decided to raise yours and my gasoline taxes by $.10/gallon. Instead of even thinking about bringing the price of gasoline down—by allowing us to drill for additional petroleum reserves in our own country (in those places that oil actually exists) as well as 100-200 miles off shore—it has decided to raise the price from its already all-time high! Rep. James Oberstar (D-MN), Chairman of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, said: “We’ll put all things on the table but, the gas tax is the cornerstone. Nothing else will work without the underpinning of the higher user fee gas tax.” Hmmm. Note: It appears that Mr. Oberstar’s “all things on the table” does not include the thing that would actually bring gasoline prices down and increase the US domestic supply. That would be drilling for oil in our own country and, thus, would greatly reduce our need for foreign oil. Does any sort of logic register with these clowns anymore?

Question: Or have Oberstar and his colleagues made some sort of deal with the Arab princes—as well as the insane leftist environmentalists—agreeing to keep US consumer oil prices in the stratosphere? Just wondering. If so, ‘our Congressional representatives’—suffice it to say that phrase has now become an oxymoron as they no longer represent us but, only themselves—may now be enjoying huge and growing financial reserves of their own.

Ostensibly, this new Democrat tax hike would be used to rebuild the country’s infrastructure. However, instead of a gas tax hike—in the midst of the highest gas prices in US history—how about actually doing something that would lower gas prices? The only way to affect this is to provide more domestic oil supply. And the only way to provide that is to drill for it!

We saw gas prices fall when President Bush merely rescinded the executive order that prohibited offshore drilling. I wonder how much more they would drop when the Middle East oil producers hear that Congress has also rescinded its “no drill order.” Probably several dollars worth per gallon. Unfortunately, however, both houses of the Democrat-run Congress have—like petulant children—stomped their feet and said in no uncertain terms that they refuse to lift their ban.

Instead they will try to further bleed the American people of all of their money. Don’t forget that Democrats already think your money belongs to them. Sadly, there are still a few rose-colored-glasses-optimists out there that recommend Congress reduce their billions of dollars worth of pet projects, in order to fund repairing the US infrastructure. Yeah, sure—like that’ll ever happen.

John McCain has visited Afghanistan and Iraq on multiple occasions. But, the mainstream media neither reports nor follows McCain when he is overseas. In fact, they have done and continue to do their best to ignore the Republican presidential candidate. However, these same media are now dutifully following their messiah—Barack Hussein Obama—wherever he leads them. And they will no doubt report whatever he and his campaign officials tell them to report. This time, intense media adulation exists for Obama’s very first trip to Afghanistan. WOW! What a guy!!! And so, the media (including the always-favorably-reporting-on-Obama CBS, ABC and NBC “news” which are said to be the only ones to have been invited by the Obama campaign) begins their first ever overseas campaign rally for their candidate of choice. Note: Any thoughts of the leftist media ever returning to straight and unbiased reporting have now been dashed—once and for all. The media are no longer even attempting to hide their prejudice for only leftist candidates who run for any and all elected offices.

The media are now, finally, openly telling us that they will not—under any and/or all foreseeable circumstances—fairly report on any and all non-leftist candidates; but will, instead, work diligently to vilify, distort and lie about them. Sadly and as I’ve reported before, even Fox News—the once ‘fair and balanced’ network—has now joined leftist news’ colleagues with its almost “All Obama All the Time” positive coverage. Note: The days of a free and impartial press are now officially gone—forever it appears. Mega-media provider—the leftist Associated Press—is even advising its alleged “reporters” to add more ‘emotive language’ and opinion into their news stories. The “opinion,” of course, is only acceptable so long as it originates from the “correct”—AKA leftist—point of view. One has to believe that Marx, Lenin, Stalin and all other oppressors of humanity would be proud.

During Obama’s Rainbow Tour—not to be confused with Eva Peron’s more legitimate one—he will also, and perhaps more importantly, speak to the old power elite of Europe. This is the same old leftist elite that say they love Obama—because they hate President Bush. Note: This is, also, the same elite class that has almost decimated Europe with its leftist policies. Anyone still remember the patently corrupt and leftist former President of France Jacque Chirac? Chirac is the poster-boy for what leftist policies can do for you. And Obama loves them! After all, their leftist policies are essentially the same as those Obama has in store for the USA.

There is little to no doubt that Obama will receive applause and accolades from leftist and the now increasingly Islamic Europe. Besides, if Obama makes some major speaking gaffe he will have his CBS, ABC and NBC campaign news teams to smile adoringly at him, explain any potential gaffes away or ask “what gaffes?”, say that ‘Bush made him say them’ or ignore and refuse to report them at all. Ahhh, the beauty of having the media working for you and never—never—being asked any hard questions. Question: Can the title King of the World be far behind for Obama?

If we thought the “all Obama all the time” coverage has been overwhelming thus far, just wait. I predict that Obama’s fawning coverage will soon become never-ending and crushing. And all of this will occur while Mr. Obama spouts his flowery scripts which say essentially nothing. But,then, he does smile while delivering them.

On 14 July 2008 President George W. Bush lifted the executive order banning US off-shore drilling. In response to President Bush’s call to Congress to also lift its ban, Senate Majority leader Harry Reid (D-NV) gave the Democrat response. Without any viable explanation, his response was and is “NO!” More concerned with continuing to receive funding from far-left and anti-anything-that will-help-America sources than lowering pump prices to American citizens and supporting energy independence for the USA, Reid is making his stand. It’s just an abject shame that his position is against America and the will of its people. And with his and other Congressional Democrat leaders’ posture against growing the USA’s independence from foreign oil, Middle Eastern terrorists are being supported—with oil monies sent overseas instead of remaining in the US.

Out of one side of his mouth Sen. Reid says “"Let’s begin the discussion here by saying, Democrats support domestic production” and out of the other—in an attempt to switch targets and confuse the public—he reject the president’s proposal for more domestic drilling and says “We need to crack down on excessive speculation.” This comment from power-saturated Reid is supposed to silence We-the-People from calling our elected representatives and telling them we want offshore drilling as well as drilling in the Rocky Mountains Green River Formation—said to be the largest oil reserve in the world! According to a 2007 press release the Bureau of Land Management says that Green River “holds the equivalent of 800 billion barrels of recoverable oil—as much as the U.S. would use in 110 years, at current consumption levels, and three times the proven oil reserves of Saudi Arabia.” The USA currently has enough already identified oil to sustain it for any foreseeable future. And yet—as men and women of corrupt nature are inclined to do—we are disallowed by the Democrat-run Congress from doing anything to get to it. We are told by these “leaders” that it will take 10 years for us to see any results.

Note: This “10-year scenario” is the same argument Democrats and other liberals have used for the past 20-30 years. Suffice it to say, had we done something 20 years ago we’d be enjoying the results today. However, with technological advances, many experts now advise that drilling could begin in 1-2 years—not 10. And, by the way, all of those ‘new and improved alternate fuel technologies’ will take at least 10 years to develop and few-to-none have yet to be proved viable. Are those of you who voted Democrat in 2006 happy yet?

However, Reid and Senate Democrats are not the only ones blocking all attempts for American energy independence. Reid’s partner in crime House Majority leader Nancy Pelosi has repeatedly blocked any energy bills from reaching the House floor for a vote. Instead, Democrat leaders and a few misguided liberal Republicans continue to dig their heels into the sand and deny the USA its own rights to its own resources while Congress offers the county no other choice but to send billions of oil dollars overseas—dollars that are used to support extreme and opulent princely lifestyles and terrorism. Why would they do this to their own country? Money and power—and lots of it!

Contrary to popular belief, it is the far-Left—not Republicans—that has deeper pockets to fund its Congressional ‘yes men and women’. Communism and Socialism have always been lucrative for those at the top. Why do you think they are such popular ideologies amongst the corrupt and those who strongly wish to be corrupted? It is the great unwashed masses—AKA proletariat—who suffer, not prosper, under these doctrines. Room at the top is strictly regulated—as well as the lives of We-the-People—by a few individuals who benefit from these dogmas.

These have become increasingly dire times, folks. The only way to stop it and return to the sanity of growth, prosperity and the pursuit of happiness is to vote out the bums who are putting obstacles in the way of our achieving them. More importantly, its time we voted only for those dedicated to placing our county back on the right track—and not the track leading to even more oppression. Please, let’s not repeat the 2006 debacle.

Recently, I have been hard pressed to turn on cable news and go more that 5 minutes without hearing some rah-rah campaigning for Democrat POTUS candidate Barack Obama. However, the recent and developing story is that this phenomenon is no longer relegated to CNN, MSNBC and the other traditional liberal and leftist alphabet networks. Fox News has now joined its comrades and the previously “fair and balanced” network seems to have taken a decidedly leftist slant. Instead of the previous ‘fair and balanced’ tack, FNC now appears to have firmly planted its feet on the liberal-leftist side of the aisle. In essence, that which differentiated Fox News from the pro-Democrat leftist news has almost been eliminated and it is becoming its competition. Fox now runs Obama speeches—usually almost in toto—without interruption. McCain’s speeches, however, may be broadcast for a few minutes. Then, the anchors’ “interpretations and comparisons to Obama” begin.

Watching Fox and Friends on Friday 11 July, Fox coverage of the US presidential campaign included discussions of Obama, an interview of Democrat NM Governor Bill Richardson (as to how great Obama is) and an additional interview of Howard Wolfson—former top aide for Democrat Hillary Clinton’s campaign and current Fox News political analyst. Except when Wolfson brought up John McCain’s name, I don’t believe it was even mentioned on the show. Note: Co-host Gretchen Carlson has on more than one occasion recently appeared to vigorously come to Obama’s aid when one of the guests said something negative about Obama. Hmmm. Wonder who she’s supporting for president. The youthful weekend Fox and Friends crew is even more pronounced in its support for the leftist Democrat candidate. Now, the only difference between FNC and the other networks is that Fox may have more conservatives on its payroll. However, I assume that is in the process of being changed.

The mainstream liberal media—now including Fox News—has recently applauded Barack Obama for sounding more “centrist” and “moderate” in his campaign speeches. Actually, the “sounding” part is correct. But, that’s all Obama’s move toward “moderate” is—sound and fury signifying nothing. Never fear MoveOn.org and Daily Kos. Your candidate is still a Marxist and will again openly become one after he is President of the United States.

Note: At this juncture, I have strongly begun to doubt that the now wimpy-sounding and refusing-to-fight-for-the-job John McCain has a prayer of winning the presidency. And with his denigration of any and all Republicans who tell the truth about his opponent, one has to wonder if McCain even wants the job. Recently, I’ve been asking myself if McCain is actually a stealth member of the Obama campaign.

But, back to FNC. I guess I can’t really blame Fox News. The inevitable Democrat-run Congress’—with Democrats soon to be in power in all three branches of government—pending legislation to bring back the “fairness doctrine” geared toward removing conservatives and their point of view from the airways, I imagine that Fox carefully pondered the situation. I also imagine that FNC decided it either needed to “voluntarily” join ‘em or be potentially subject to a forced scenario after the new Stalinists formally seize the USA.

Conservatives—as well as Christian Bible publishers who are now being sued to either change scripture or stop publishing the Holy Book—may soon be forced into hiding. Note: This is what occurred in Russia for all who opposed the offshoot of the Bolshevik Revolution—Stalinistic communism. The masses, AKA “proletariat”, either kept quiet about their opposition or were sent to Siberia—or worse.

Think it can’t happen here? If you do, unfortunately you’re very wrong. It has already begun. Conservatives used to at least have a voice. With the apparent demise of “fair and balanced,” that voice is being even more vigorously suppressed. Sadly, warnings don’t seem to be working and like the frog placed in a pot filled with water on a stove—the realization of the US takeover by unfriendly forces may only register with its proletariat after it is in the process of being boiled alive. It may not even end with a whimper.

A democratic republic can occur only so long as men and women of good will agree to it. When that good will and agreement end so does the republic.
