The New Media Alliance (NMA) provides
various media access and support services to qualifying members and groups
within the Conservative grass-roots activist community.
Writer Grants
Through our parent
company, Heritage New Media Partners, Inc., the NMA is actively engaged with
various conservative organizations, think tanks and activist groups which
seek talented writers and researchers to perform research or to become
involved in media campaigns by writing articles, commentary or news pieces.
The NMA's pool of
participating writers are eligible to receive writing or research
assignments for such work and will be provided with grant money to do so.

contacted for follow-up information.
Media Distribution
The NMA provides press and news distribution services to deserving members
and groups within the conservative grass roots community who apply and our
approved for such services by our Board of Directors.
Our direct and
targeted distribution can reach over 20,000 media outlets which include
print and online news publications, magazines, radio, TV, syndicators, and
more; Thereby providing unparalleled media access to people and groups whose
voice would not otherwise have such an opportunity to be heard.

Academic Liberty and Student Empowerment
An important
project of the NMA is The
Reality Check On Campus.
The
Reality Check On
Campus is
designed to
provide support services to college and university conservatives facing
challenges resulting from the lack of intellectual diversity on campuses
throughout the country. Through this venture,
campus conservatives will have access to extensive
media outreach,
support services,
references and links.
At the NMA, we are
committed to ensuring
that the term “diversity” also includes conservative thought and perspective
in the public square, in our media AND on college campuses.

Coalition Building
The NMA recognizes
that effective coordination and organization is critical to ensuring that
conservative thought and perspective has an opportunity to be heard in the
marketplace of ideas.
Therefore, over
the coming weeks and months we will be investing considerable time and
resources to bringing various participants within the conservative movement
together in a formal and coordinated manner.
Specific
initiatives include:
NMA State Chapters
The NMA will begin
immediately to identify individuals willing to coordinate media activities
and represent the NMA at a state level. These NMA State Coordinators
will be responsible for building Alliance membership within their designated
states or regions, representing the NMA to local media and coordinating
media campaigns there.

NMA Partners
Developing a
robust and engaged network of media partners is critical to the success of
this work.
All media
organizations to include: TV, radio, blogs, ezines, and print
publications are invited to join the New Media Alliance as a media partner.

in addition to free quality and unique content for your publication.

Alliance Conference Calls
Starting in
January 2006, the NMA will be conducting regular monthly conference calls
with all State Coordinators, partners and the NMA writers pool, to discuss
current activities, share ideas and plan future work. Special guest
speakers will also be invited, from time to time, to address the attendees.
NMA Conferences and Speaker Series
The New Media
Alliance will be scheduling various conference events in the coming months
for NMA partners, writers and special guests.
All NMA partners,
writers, members and special guests will be invited to such events well
prior to their occurrence to allow for proper planning and attendance.
